about

"The Great Fallling Away", once a very heavy, downer song...originally written pre-1988, but 1st performed on piano, at church, at a revival.
The evangelist loved it.
It has since been recorded in Branson, MO ca. 1995 or so ... and has become a more-or-less "allegorical" song, not so much bent on an event, as focused on a warning to not take things too lightly.
I know there's a line that says about Abraham "learning to FEAR the great I am". "Fear" is a stupid old English word that meant "love & respect". I might sing it different next time I do it live! :D

All keyboards and drums and vocals. And a Gong included.

lyrics

chorus: AND IT'S A SIGN / SIGN OF THE TIMES / THE APOSTLES WROTE / A DISTRESSFUL NOTE / THE DAY OF THE LORD / IS LIKE A SWORD / UNLESS YOU REPENT TODAY / FROM THE GREAT FALLING AWAY.

about

Tony DLivahh Phoenix, Arizona

The Music of DLIVAHH a.k.a. "Prog Spirit Rock" is truly "Music That Delivers" - incorporating Tony's signature guitar riffs and rhythms which are very "classic rock" like, and a flourish of keyboard/piano work throughout. The rhythms vary and the vocals are soaring. All of this to round out the sound that folks are labelling "different but good!" A fusion of Classic/Prog Rock, Techno & Alt Jazz. ... more
