about

This song is "telling on me" too, a sort of wierd "testimony song" of sorts.
And even though I wanted this album to be "cross-over", it has a LOT of spiritual elements to it.
Funny thing is how certain influences, musically, come out when you write. I was NOT trying to channel Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull, but that's how part of the vocals sound! They were one (and still one) of my fave bands to listen to!
Towards the end of the song, there are TWO guitar solos mashed together. Yes TWO! I recorded 2 separate tracks, and liked both solos so much, I put them together. Unbelievable how that worked.
"BREAK, BREAK, BREAK" became a chant, a cheer, a cry for freedom. So break dem curses. All of them!

about

Tony DLivahh Phoenix, Arizona

The Music of DLIVAHH a.k.a. "Prog Spirit Rock" is truly "Music That Delivers" - incorporating Tony's signature guitar riffs and rhythms which are very "classic rock" like, and a flourish of keyboard/piano work throughout. The rhythms vary and the vocals are soaring. All of this to round out the sound that folks are labelling "different but good!" A fusion of Classic/Prog Rock, Techno & Alt Jazz. ... more
